FOUR SEAS BIBLE COLLEGE

SINGAPORE

Fulfilling the earliest intentions of Ira Y. Rice Jr. to establish a Bible training college to serve the churches of Christ in South-East Asia, the Malaysia Christian College was founded, with the assistance of Pence Dacus and others, in Singapore on January 1965. The institution was renamed Four Seas College of Bible and Missions in 1967.

Singapore, being a multi-lingual, multi-racial city, wherein dwell people out of practically "every nation under heaven", it was felt that if we could establish a strong centre of Christian teaching here, a vortex of influence would thus be created, leading ultimately to the evangelization of this entire area of all mankind.
